Central Bedfordshire Council – Decent Homes - 03/05/2013

Chigwell Construction secured the Internal Decent Homes contract in early 2013. This followed a rigorous tender process including an interview attended by the management team to confirm how the programme would be delivered. The estimated contract value is £1.5m per year and works are due to commence in July 2013.
Meet The Contractor - Tower Hamlets - 03/05/2013

Yesterday Chigwell Construction held a 'meet the contractor' afternoon at Raynham House, Wyn Garrett Centre in Tower Hamlets. This allowed the residents to meet the Chigwell Construction staff who will be working on the contract. All residents that attended were shown the process of works and site locations. Kitchen and Bathroom choices were available on the day for tenants to look at. Refreshments were provided and the afternoon was very well received by Tower Hamlet Homes' staff and their residents.
Tower Hamlets Homes - Decent Homes - 30/04/2013

Chigwell Construction is proud to announce their success in securing the Decent Homes Internal Improvements contract with Tower Hamlets Homes. The contract has an estimated value of £2m per year with contract duration of 3 years. Works commence in May 2013 and the contract will provide local labour opportunities including apprenticeship opportunities, 3 of which Chigwell have already recruited.
Celebrity Football Match - 20/04/2013

On Sunday 12 May 2013 Haven House's Celebrity Football match takes place at Leyton Orient's ground. Our very own MD, Dean Floyd will be taking his place on the Tottenham Hotspur Legends Team. The match is led by team captain 'Arg' from TOWIE and his star studded team includes Tom from TOWIE, the Actor Danny Dyer, Gary Lucy from Eastenders and Mike and Darren from The Overtones. The match will be played against the Tottenham Hotspur Legends who include Mark Falco, Gary Brooke and Paul Miller.

Comic Relief - 18/03/2013

Chigwell Construction staff helped raise together with Aaron (10) who entertained the office on Friday by playing on keyboard and singing £2,003.67 for Comic Relief. Staff also came to work in their pyjamas and sold cakes in aid of Comic Relief.

In the evening Dean Floyd, Managing Director, accompanied by his Wife Sue Floyd and their Son Aaron and some of Chigwell's call centre staff went to Southern Housing Group Offices in Horsham to help take pledges over the phone where an additional £39,600.00 was raised.

Well done to everyone that helped raise money for this great cause.
Haven House 10th Birthday - 13/03/2013

Haven House is celebrating its 10^th birthday in 2013, and helping the hospice to celebrate are two local businesses who will be sponsoring the celebrations.

Chigwell Construction and Dilshan Transport Group Ltd (based in Chadwell Heath) will be sponsoring its 10^th birthday activities including two of its flagship events – a Celebrity Football Match (taking place Sunday 12^th May) and a 10^th Birthday Ball in the Autumn.

This will mean that all funds raised from these events will come straight to the hospice and the bill for the events will be picked up by these two local businesses.

Dean Floyd, owner of Chigwell Construction, who will be sponsoring the high profile 10^th Birthday ball, said of his support; 'I am delighted to be a headline sponsor for what promises to be a great event and delighted to be able to support such a worthwhile local cause in its 10^th birthday year.'

John Singh of Dilshan Transport explains; 'The celebrity football match is going to be a brilliant event and we're delighted to be able to lend our support and help the hospice celebrate its 10^th birthday in style.'

Mike Palfreman, Chief Executive of the Woodford Green charity, added; '2013 looks like being a packed year for our events and we're so pleased to have the support of our local business community to help make them possible.'

Celebrities confirmed for the football match include TOWIE stars James (Arg) Argent and Tom Kilbey as well as TV actor Gary Lucy and members of The Overtones. They will be playing against a team of Tottenham Hotspur legends including Mark Falco and Darren Anderton.
Rainbow Trust - 30/01/2013

I just wanted to say a massive thank you for your attendance at the Van Morrison concert for Rainbow Trust. Your generosity will help pay for a Rainbow Trust Family Support Worker, helping make life a little easier for a family who is struggling to cope with their very sick child. Our Family Support Workers help families cope by providing emotional and practical support whenever and wherever it's needed. There is a huge need for our support, but right now we are only able to help approximately 1 in 11 of these families - our vision is that one day every family will get the help they need. We are almost entirely dependent on donations and money from individuals like you which goes directly to supporting families in need.

I do hope you enjoyed the concert. Rainbow Trust was thrilled to have been a part of this event and with your help we are delighted to have raised £77,000. This is a fantastic sum for Rainbow Trust, enabling us to continue our vital work.

I really hope you had a wonderful time and will hopefully join us at another Rainbow event soon.

Tower Hamlets - 16/12/2012

Chigwell has recently secured the internal Decent Homes modifications for THH, beating off 6 other contractors in the process. The contract is a 3-5 year framework with an annual value of £2m. Works commence in April 2013.
Lambeth Decent Homes - 15/12/2012

We commenced work on this programme in November 2012 as a result of our involvement on the SCMG.

The contract value is in excess of £6m per annum and represents Chigwell's biggest contract, servicing 35 kitchens and bathrooms per week.

To date, all properties have been handed over defect-free, with the client commenting; "we are extremely impressed with the quality of workmanship shown by Chigwell. Their staff are professional and dedicated. They are a contractor we have every faith in completing works on time, safely and within budget, and have shown the ability and flexibility to overcome problems with the minimum of fuss."
