Chigwell Construction are awarded £212,000 Barratt Homes contract - 26/06/2009

Chigwell Construction are successful in their bid for works for Barratt Homes. The 14 week project will include the refurbishment of 8 properties at Coopers Walk, Stratford including the installation of new Bathroom and Kitchens.
Chigwell Construction Compete in The Max Clifford Celebrity Golf Challenge 2009 - 15/06/2009

The sun shone and the golfers were in good form for the Max Clifford Celebrity Golf Challenge held on the Costa Del Sol 11-14 June in aid of the Rhys Daniels Trust. This annual event has become one of the most prestigious in the Rhys Daniels Trust fundraising calendar and the 2009 event was bigger and better than ever before.

Held at the stunning La Cala Resort the event kicked off with a Welcome Dinner where guests were entertained by Bobby Davro, Kenny Lynch, Stan Boardman and Des O'Connor and celebrity players including Andy Gray, Gary McAllister, Jean Christophe Novelli and Craig Fairbass plus a host of others were matched to their golf teams. 39 gold teams played two courses over two days competing for the coveted Rhys and Charly trophy amongst other prizes.

The weekend of non-stop fun and entertainment included an evening at Club La Costa's stunning California Beach Resort where the golfers and guests could relax and reflect on their first days play whilst enjoying a poolside BBQ. The event, as always, finished in style with the sell out Butterfly Ball held at the stunning Hotel Puente Romano in Marbella. Over 400 guests, including Chris Eubank were entertained by Stephen Lloyd Morgan, Austin Drage, Tee Green and Masquerade and the whole weekend raised an incredible £160,000 for the Rhys Daniels Trust.

Chigwell Construction in conjunction with Ambassador Group launch 2 luxury new build homes in Brook Rise Chigwell, Essex. The site formerly spare land to a home backing on to Brook Rise was purchased to build 2 detached family homes, one being a 4 Bedroom property on the market for £740,000 with parking for 3 cars and the other a 5 Bedroom on the market for £850,000 which benefits from 2 double garages and parking for approximately 10 cars. Each property is set over 3 floors and the development is set behind private gates.

This month work starts on the total refurbishment of 2 three bed cottages at 2 & 3 Cowley Mill Road, Harrow on behalf of Kier Harrow. The 7 week project is worth £68,000.

Chigwell Construction (London) Ltd has been selected as the contractor to work on a 200k, 22 week project due to start in June 2009. The property is a 4 bedroom private dwelling requiring a full refurbishment and extension. The Chartered Surveyor for this project is Johal Regan.

Rhys Daniels Trust St George's Day UK Celebrity Golf Classic - 01/05/2009

Chigwell Construction attend and sponsor a hole at this year's Rhys Daniels Trust St George's Day UK Celebrity Golf Classic. We donated a signed Spurs shirt for the auction and purchased a few items including Zidane's boots. This is the second time the event has been held at Brocket Hall Golf Club, the sun shined all day and with the great entertainment laid on for the evening the day was enjoyed by all. The evening raised £17,000 for the trust. The event will be televised on 18th & 19th May on Sky Sports 2 and 18th May on Sky Sports Xtra.
Papa John's Barking Road Open For Business - 06/04/2009

Colliers CRE Licensed and Leisure team have been appointed by Papa John’s as sole retained acquisition agents for the UK. Up to 30 units per year across the UK are required to expand the Papa John’s brand. Chigwell Construction (London) Ltd were appointed to fit out the ground floor of 146 Barking Road, East Ham, London E6 for a new Papa John’s Pizza unit. The project was completed in 5 weeks.
Reducing our carbon footprint - 16/03/2009

Reducing our carbon footprint by fitting a fuel saver device to each vehicle we can potentially reduce our carbon footprint and reduce our fuel bills by 14.5-18%. We have installed one device as a pilot scheme to one of our fleet and look forward to seeing the savings at the end of the test period. If successful we will roll this out across all our fleet.
