Chigwell Group has for a number of years sponsored the Collier Row Community Group’s Christmas event. Always hugely popular with local residents our showroom is transformed into Santa’s grotto with hundreds of children each receiving a present from the big man himself.

Unfortunately this year due to COVID restrictions the event had to be cancelled. But undeterred, together with CRCG and Havering College we decided to run a competition for local children to design our showroom Christmas window display.

The winning design was then made a reality by design students from Havering College.

On Wednesday, 18th November it was the big Window Wonderland unveiling designed by Lewis Ralph who’s winning creation will now be viewed by thousands of people because our showroom will also be the collection point for over 1,000 advent calendars which the Chigwell Group are also donating free to families in the community.

It will become the talk of the town when visitors picking up their calendars are asked to take photographs with the display to upload to their social media.
